A couple of hours will normally find almost all the bad ones if you have any.

ok, thanks

another quick question - since these are max nodes for the SSC - what is the best way to deal with/get rid of the leads on the output side - I could just cut them off, but what does everyone think for sealing them?

Thanks

I would not cut them off completely.  Doing that would restrict that node to an end of string only node.  I would leave enough lead on the end for a possible future connection and then dip those ende in clear silicone to seal them up.  You might also want to make sure they are all together when you dip them and that waythe silcone would both seal the ends and hold them together which would look much neater on the end of the string.

I've been just putting a glob of hot glue on the end.   Thanks to dmoore/holidaycoro for that tip.
