After the show...
« on: November 28, 2012, »
and even before the show for that matter!

I have a question.  If I wanted to run my show for about 2 hours a night and then just have the lights on normal for the rest of the night until approx 11pm-12am and then automatically go off, whats the best way to set this up?

Would I create a sequence that basically just has the lights on for x hours, then show, then lights on again for x hours?  Or is there another way to have the show happen but outside of show hours just have the lights on steady (no blinky)?

Thanks,
Shannon

What software are you using?

LOR show builder already has this built in.

Last year was my first year.  I used Vixen for sequencing and xLights to schedule the show on a dedicated computer.  I had 3 playlists scheduled each night in xLights - pre-show, the show, and post show.  In my case, the pre and post show sequences just had the eves on.

@Mike - I'm not using anything yet!  My first show won't be until July (Canada day) or Halloween/Christmas.  Depending on how the coops go in the new year! lol

@PK - Thanks, that's what I was thinking I would have to do.  Appreciate it.
