3 Colors or 4

I really like Holdman's 2007 display. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

I was thinking about using 4 colors; white, red, green, and orange. I was thinking that with all four colors on at the same time that it would look like 1 multi-color string. Then I watch the videos and think 3 is enough colors.

What are your opinions?

Thanks,
Mark

Sounds like personal opinion and what you are trying to accomplish with the colors.  That video is cool for color saturation alone, but having everything red or green isnt what everyone likes.

So best question is what do you want to do with the colors and how many channels you want to have to complete it?

Realize that if you add a color you add a channel per area/object you want to control.  So that can add a lot of money to a project.

Hope that helps.
