Title: 12v Cord

What should we be using for the 12v cord feed on the Aether II's?

The landscape lighting uses 16-2 wire.  So, SPT2 should work well.

I'll be using SPT-2 cord.
The important thing is the connector plug. I'm hesitant to use a standard 110v Vampire plug. With my luck, my son would need a light and grab one of my Aether's and plug it in to the wall. So, that being said, I'll probably use Twistlock plugs.

I am using the watertight trailer light connectors for cars. They are rated 12vdc so not sure if they are ok for 12 vac. mine are 4 wire maybe 18 gage wire. I am using 2 wires for + and 2 wires for -. Seems to be working with out the wires getting warm.

I like that idea and it may be cheaper too!

Normally any autoports store, Sears, or Walmart should have them.
