FYI,

The Conductor allowed standalone operation of the Etherdongle to output 16,384 channels of pixelnet (4 pixlenet universes).

The Conductor had the ability to send a sync packet to a Slave so that you could have another 4 universes of pixelnet 16,385 - 32,768

I don't believe the Slave will work without a Conductor as a standalone player.

If you are looking for a standalone player for the Etherdongle, I would look into the Falcon Player (FPP).
This can also have slave units.

did you get the conductor to work properly? I, as well as many others, never got our conductors to work properly.

for the money, i would switch to the raspberry pi and use the falcon pi player. FLAWLESS OPERATION!!

Out of curiosity, does anyone know if this sync packet or protocol is documented anywhere?  :)
