I was wondering what the Difference is between the Lynx USB Dongle here and the ENTTEC OPEN
im new to all this and wonder the differences and when the coops will start for the ED PCB's

the Lynx USB more resembles the Enttec Pro
i believe the Lynx provides a continous DMX stream to the equipment like the Enttec Pro, where the Enttec OPEN does not. (it only sends a dmx signal while a sequence is played)

The enntec open is basically just a USB serial port and requires the PC to produce the data stream. Any glitches in windows can corrupt the current frame.
The USB dongle is more of a store and forward. It provides an active buffer and will continue to correctly output the last frame even if the application crashes. It also off-loads the DMX packet generation as DMX has an unusual synchronization header.

and to get the PCB for the dongle is through the coop?

or if people have spares

I don't believe the USB dongles are offered through coops, instead use the store... or buy a spare from someone else.
