chip direction

ok ,

maybe because i am new and i didnt know this but for future people could somone add to the wiki the direction of of the moc 3023 chips? i put mine in backwards the first time and couldnt get the LED's to light. thankfully i figured it out and everything is working fine. just a thought?

It is in the wiki already.

Now we need to insert the chips into there correct sockets. The board is marked for the correct part. Get them oriented correctly with pin one in the correct position. Pin one is marked on the chips as a notch on the end where pin 1 is and sometimes a dot over pin one. All of the pin # 1 notches or pin #1 dots face different directions so be careful that you get them in the right way.

i read that like 3  times too. i guess i just didnt know where pin one was .  in a hurry i guess.

Updated the LE manual and added pictures noting pin1 for a PIC, asocket, and a MOC3023.  Also added pics to note +/- polarity for radial capacitors and leds.

It's not about more, it's about enough.
