Two kits, please!

Guys,

This is not a coop post. This is a post answering when the next coop will start. Posting numbers will not work in this post. In Oct when I post, then you want to post this stuff.

Just out of curiosity, will the LED displays being back ordered screw up this COOP?

I'm going to purchase my first few Express units and don't want to be delayed... ;)

I know...it is so ridiculous.  Dan just emailed me personally to apologize.  Frankly he should.  I don't understand how they could sell a product and then realize the firmware doesn't work.

Any way, back to the topic at hand...

Most likely not. We have ways around the issue. Worst case we order different colored LED  :o   LOL

I think I have a source that will have them for me.

This is not the post to place your order.  RJ will open a post in october for the coop.

Hello All!

I've not participated in a co-op here before, and am new to the board.  My question pertains to timing of the co-op.

I am throwing a RAVE the first friday of November and am in need of a 16 channel dimmer/switch pack.  Will the parts and such arrive early enough for me to put this together, or, are there a lot of variables in play that I might not see this till much later?  (For instance, are you going to wait and see how many people sign up, then order the parts, then send out the kits).

I am just trying to get a realistic view.  We currently have a few 4-channel dimmer packs, we could use these for the show and still get in on this for the future projects I have.

In any case, this stuff is really awesome and I have not found ANYTHING that even comes close to how inexpensive these are.

Thanks!
Rick

There's no way you'll make it with this co-op.  It opens for orders for a good few weeks and then the parts are ordered after payments come in.  After a bit of sorting and packaging they go out a week or two later.

The only way you could make it is with stocked boards from RJ (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login).  Currently he has no Expresses but he does have MR-16s.

Be aware that when you order stuff you are agreeing to non-commercial usage since the Lynx equipment is deemed for hobbyist use only.  I may not have said that correctly, but I'm sure that RJ will pop in here and set the record straight.

Do the kits include the enclosures or do those need to be purchased separately? I'm just trying to be prepared as October 1st is slowing approaching.
