fm transmitter is this it ?

hey guys in the fm transmitter index  it says czh-05b-b this one on ebay says czh-05b cant find anything that says 05b-b is this the right one

I think so. I think the -b was for a black color model.

i have that same one, except mine is the black color.

2 notes...

1.)
if you're buying more than one, make sure you delete the 1, before you add the number you want.  (don't ask me how i ended up with 20 transmitters last year.)

2.)
don't forget to get a ground plane antenna. like this one...

Can you turn the power way down on these? 100mw is more power than you should be transmitting in a residential neighborhood. You start adding a ground plane antenna and you are asking for a visit from the FCC.

Bigger is not always better. You want folks to be able to pick up the music just beyond where they can see your house, not a half mile away - unless you live out in the country where the average lot size is bigger than 5 acres...

2 mw gives me about a city block, which covers about 10 lots in any direction from my house.

I have the black unit as a backup and it works great. I have also have had great success with a homemade Dipole antenna connected to this unit.

thanks for all the replies running out of time for my first show ever hoping for oct 1st for halloween and this was a good price and they can ship right away trying to get  it all together hope i can pull it off family thinks im out of my mind

yep, I get that alot, especially in January, just after the Christmas display is taken down, and I'm talking about the Halloween show and what I want to change.
