Was it built with lights? That's what I'm wanting to do. I've have tons of ideas but putting it together is my only obstacle with my lack of channels. what other devices are there with many channels for low cost? Its only because of the simplicity I want to keep it cheap.

Okay...I was ignorant in the fact I did not know what a Rube Goldberg machine is. I have seen many over the years but never knew they had a name. Anyway, here is a link for a video of one.

How many channels do you have to work with? Any pixels?

Don't have any pixel, and I only have 128 channels. I have to incorporate as many as I can with the regular show. Unless I can get something cheap to make up the slack.

To portray movement you will need a minimum of two channels. More if it is a big move or you want it to look fluid less strobe like.
