traffic jams
« on: December 13, 2011, »
<md..With this my first year showing lights, I never expected this mess. Ppl are coming from everywhere and clogging up our street. It is funny to see these cars taking spots like black friday at the mall...lol. I need a bucket of chicken and maybe a glass of beer.(root beer). Lol
Its the most wonderful time of the year.

might need to include a "please don't block neighbors driveways, or the street msg, or if you have one, maybe have it play more frequently. just to keep the neighbors happy.

Update... I might have to do something here soon. The ppl are coming in by the truck loads. I just had to ask a nursing home with two vans move so they wouldn't block traffic. I pulled them in my driveway. Any real suggestions?

I don't wanna make a sucky show. The voice overs is good tho. I ended up staging ppl so it didn't get any worse. A lot of them got outta their cars and walked up cause the lines weren't moving. This is a blast. <pop..

Wish I had this problem....  I had a total of 4 at once last night.  Then maybe 4 total after that...  Just not getting the people to stop and watch...  depressing...

lol well good for you...  I know I had a couple stop tonight.  I'm on a main drag too and people can see the display for a distance coming from either direction.  I don't think people really know yet that they could stop and actually see the blinky to music. :)

I'm actually having my show in the BACK yard, to try to keep from being a distraction at a big intersection.
