Christmas Forum Websites
« on: February 10, 2011, »
I have parts coming through the dongle and express coop but I am still looking for some more lights for my first display next year.  I was wondering what are some other Christmas forum websites I could check and see if I could find some more lights from the members?

I know of these...

If you are looking for lights to purchase here are a few of the sources I use often:

If it is lights that you are interested in, I would highly suggest devising a plan for your first show, determine how many lighted objects you will have (mini trees, mega trees, arches, etc.), how you want them to function and where/how you will place them.  Then use us to help you determine how many channels/lights might work well for you.  Then as much as possible buy in bulk (think Costco/Sams type savings).

Holiday University just started last fall.  Nice crowd of guys. Around 400 members so far. A lot of the long time veterans from Planet Christmas moved over there resulting in a lot of good information coming up.  Definitely a place we all can learn one thing or another. They are coming out with a line of DIY controllers from what one of the "Hint" post says.
