Can we add the ssr4's to the list?  Or did the transformer kick it out of the picture?

Until a new one is designed to overcome the lack of transformer I do not think i should have it listed.

Bump again. Want to keep it coming up on the new post list so everyone sees it and gives input if they have it.

If the SSR4 problem gets fix would there be a Freestyle option also?

Not that I need either just asking a question. Of course a mode to the SSR4 pcbs that I own and not built would be nice also :)

I think its just 8 board so no biggie if not

Rick I do not think I will be able to do a mod. I'm sorry I do know there are people out there with blank ssr4 pcbs but just as with everyone else I found out the same as everyone else they dropped them. It is always hard but we did have them avaliable for years. The new parts if they work out I do not think we can hack on the old pcbs. If possible I would make it so but nothing real close avaliable anymore.

Is it just that there isn't anything close for a pin lineup or no part like it anymore?

One thing that I would suggest is that a substitute transformer be found even if it doesn't fit on the board.  We are a DIY group here and I'm sure that people will come up with a remote way to mount them.  I don't think that I would have any issue doing that provided I had a part number of a  transformer that would supply the needed voltages and current.  Even if it doesn't fit in the suggsted case, I could come up with a different way to mount it.

Start with a couple Lynx Express and a DMX dongle.  This will get you 32 channels and a rush of excitement.  While you are working on that, read all you can.  Things are created as fast these past two years as most of us can comprehend how to use them.

Don't forget to vote as well if you plan to participate.

I would forget the DMX dongle and go directly with the EtherDongle.  The price is pretty much the same and the capabilities are far and away superior to anything that the Lynks dongle is capable of.  The ability to add the Conductor daughter card to the EtherDongle really IMHO, make the Lynks dongle a thing of the past.

Good stuff.  Your better trademark that statement.
