Need Some Input

Enclosed is a rough sketch idea for my first project. Everything will be tri-color like most I've seen. I know that everyone will have a different idea on what is needed but I would like to know what I need to control a light show so I can start counting my pennies...

Have 6 trees that I would like to flow from one to the next and so on
Mega tree with a topper
Wall star
Palm tree wrapped in light
icicle lights
roof light
sleigh
presents that light
garage lights

Please look at the enclosed picture....
I am just trying to figure what to order so I can start going broke...

Thank for any and all input. Please feel free to tell me any type of criticism in this design

This figureing useing LEDs if you use incandesents all info is null and void 


                           6 mini trees / 3 colors = 18 channels
                            1 star/ 3 colors =            3 channels
                           1 Palm tree / 3 colors =   3 channels
                           roof / 3 colors =               3 channels
                           sleigh / 3 colors=             3 channels
                          1 present / 3 colors =       3 channels
                          Garage / 3 colors =           3 channels
                          TOTAL CHANNELS            36 I bet your glad a coop is runnin this is not in anyway accurate or meant to be but it gives you the Idea Have fun

Might as well add that 4th controller beings you went over 32.

Lineman forgot the megatree...  as a minimum, you'll probably want 12 channels per color plus 1 channel per color for the topper.  so if its a 3 color tree that is another 39 channels.  I don't see any accounting for icicle lights either but out of the 3 LE controllers you'll need for the megatree, you should have enough extras to take care of them and perhaps another item or two.

So to me it looks like you'll need 5 LEs (plus maybe a spare LE for a total of 6) unless you go with smart strings on the mega tree.

And you'll need a DMX Dongle and plenty of extension cords.

Its never ending, you always find other stuff you need and then RJ invents something else  .

I guess I wasn't over estimating.  Up it to ten controllers.  I can guarantee by the time August rolls around you will have dreams for that many.
