Ok, i modified gallery that it always lists the current, active effects.
One BIG caveat, you cant copy single strand effects., or rather you can but it will only copy the first page of the effect.
The guts of the effect (everything attached to the segment) is in a totally different table. I need to modify the copy now so it can do single_strand effects.
This will be secondary priority until i fix gifs, pictures, layers. the stutter in a spiral, .etc
at least you can see them

Thank you

Just went to check out the single strand in the gallery but found, at least in my version of ie9, that only a single row of pixels is displayed in the gif no matter what the effect is for. Looking forward to your fixing the L/R segment direction bug so I can change the segment direction in the single strand effects but for now I am working around it. By the way Projects seems to be working great, I have generated some single strand effects and used them in my Addams Family sequence. Will post a video in a few days. Thanks for Nutcracker, it a heaven sent for those of us getting into pixels.

Attached is a screen print of my view of the Gallery. If no one else is having this problem it must be my setup.

I just tried with the latest versions of
Chrome, IE, Opera, Firefox and Safari.
The only one that does not show thumbnails is IE.
BTW, Safari seemed faster than Chrome. Maybe ill start using it

Can't say we did extensive testing with every conceivable browser. I am certain that the issue is in the way IE handles javascript. The code is not necessarily browser agnostic. Will probably have to take someone (aka me) to use IE and test it until I get a version working with IE. I personally tested the gallery on Firefox and Safari. Also know that if you are running gallery view locally, it is more than likely that you do not have the thumbnail gifs generated for the effects and they will not show up (since the thumbnails don't exist!) but, I doubt this is the issue that you are experiencing.

Not running locally (may end up doing that). The thumbnails that show in IE9 are animated they are all just single strand models.

I will have to test when I get home from work. I will look into this deeply tonight.
