Worklogs welcome?

I have done a handful of projects in the diy computer customization world. In forums for things like case modding you will see a lot of worklogs where people explain their approach and document their journey to their end point. Do people post things like this on DLA? Is it something that would be welcomed or encouraged not to be done?
Since I am working from the ground up I would like to document my first year of doing a display so that people in the future can see where a complete newbie starts from and an possibly see the feedback from seasoned members if they so feel inclined.
If this is cool with everyone I would like to start my worklog soon. =)

Tom,
I think it's a great idea. I think it will help everyone, not just new diyers.
I wish I had time to do one.

I don't see a problem with that. I think Bill and I did something like that in the past

Awesome. I have finished the Skethup of the display. I'll have bulb counts and string lengths figured out tonight so I can start it. =)
