Title: Aeon Resistor Question

I wanted to verify something.  In looking at the Mouser Direct BOM for the AEON, I noticed that the resistors spec'd are Metal Film, two of them are spec'd with 1% tolerance and two are spec'd with 5% tolerance.

Two questions.

1.  Can carbon film resistors be used OK or is there a specific need for the metal film ones?

2.  Can all the resistors be 5% tolerance or are the ones listed at 1% required to be 1%?

My reason for asking is I'd like to have all the resistors have the same underlying color (ie tan or blue) for "aesthetic purposes".  The clock's for the wife and she's an artist so these things matter.   :D

It shouldn't matter.  The 10 and 33 ohm ones are the LED current limiters, and the rest are just pullups, so precision isn't too important there.

I thought that might be the case but wanted to confirm it.  Got it put together and working.  Thanks for the great work on getting these out to us.
