Griddle
« on: July 18, 2010, »
I have a ? for RJ or anyone that might know, in 1 of the Aether post RJ says his griddle is 1500 watts and I bought a griddle from walmart ( Presto cool touch electric griddle Stock #07047  120 volts 1300 watts ) and was wondering if it will work before I open the package the cost was $25 the next size up is about $35

                                     Thanks Jeff
Jeff

Depends,

If it is really large it might have problems getting hot enough. If it is small it may get hot very fast. I expect you are fine.

Mine is quite large and 1500w. The smaller the griddle the less power it takes to get it to a given temp.

Hey jeff, I know this is an old topic but did you use this griddle to build your aethers? I'm standing in walmart reading on my phone wondering. Thanks.
