WTB: Smart string equipment (Etherdongle)
« on: October 26, 2013, »
I have everything except the dongle, which is pending. Thanks guys!

I know this is last minute for figuring this out, but I have had a brainstorm project for this year's display. (First display I am able to do at my new house!)

What I am looking for is RGB smart string/pixel net equipment. I currently have no pixelnet equipment so I will be needing a dongle, hub, ssc's, and pixels if you got em.

My goal is about 8 controllers ~16 ft long give or take depending on what I can find.

Let me know what you want to get rid of!

EDIT: I would love to buy a whole set, but otherwise I want to make sure that I can get a hold of the hub and dongle before I invest the money in SSC's and the pixels.

Thanks,
Brandon

Brandon,

I may have what you need/want:
Etherdongle - 3 available; built but PICs not programmed; in cases ($90 each)
SSC passive hubs - 4 available ($12 each)
SSC controllers (V1 - date of 2010 on them) - 12 available, PICs should be programmed ($8 each)
SSS active hub (V1 - date of 2011 on it; 16 way) - 1 available, PICs should be programmed ($62)
Thermaltake TR2 RX 850W (minus power cord - easy pickup anywhere) ($75)
114 nodes - three different length strings ($50 for the lot)
PVC cases 20+ (free if you buy the controllers)
Pigtails 20+ (free if you buy the controllers)
flex strips (5M bought from Ray in 2012) - 4 available ($55 each)

Let me know what you want, if any of it.  I don't want to hold on to these, so shoot me an offer if you want everything.

Still looking for an etherdongle, never heard back from Mike. I assume he was sold out.
