Bar-b -q ribs and lights.
« on: December 11, 2011, »
Welp the ribs are great. But the flickering lights make me wanna up-chuck the ribs. Other than that, all is ok.
Its the most wonderful time of the year.

Hmmm...I am gonna look at the Wal-Mart LED's and try a few things. If I get a solution worked out I will let you know.

to be honest the amount of time I have in the cheep strings greasing the sockets and changing them to full wave. I could have bought and paid for cdi lights.

I don't think greasing the sockets will fix my flickers. Especially when they don't wanna dim. That's when they really show their glory. The depot lights and loews, and as a matter of fact the christmas tree shop and big lots work great too. So the after christmas sale will not include the wally lights. Anyway, the show is doing good and the ppl are for the most part behaving. A truck pulling a horse trailer blocked 3 cars and I thought Micheal buffer was gonna say let's get ready to rumble.

No greasing the sockets won't fix that. greasing the sockets keeps the leads on the leds from rotting off. What you need   is a split bridge rectifyer (4 diodes)per string section. You also need a light curve. Thelight curve may help with the show up and the rectifyer is for next year.
