I had a pin shear that held the drive wheel to the axle so the train derailed the other night. It fell three feet and did quite a bit of damage the engine and the cars. I have repaired the engine to the point it can run but need to buy some more welding rod to fix the cars. Will get some night shots in the next day or so.

Sorry to hear about your choochoo bender
I always enjoyed looking at your videos etc and always wanted to build a train like that but dont have the room
Hopefully things will go better and no bumps in the night.....
BTW, nice setup in the video

That is a rea shame to see that much damage. I would like to build one in the future but mine would be a flat circle around an inflatable Christmas tree that I currently have a fake train and tracks around.
