planning for 2012 display

I have already planned my display for 2012, but am starting to get info and lights for 2013.This year to control my display, I will be using new equiptment. I will be using LE controllers, and lightshow pro,and possiblly 16 channel dc controllers. NOW the questions- 1) for 2013 i will be switching elements to RGB, what dongle would work for this year and next?  2) I will be using 3528 and 5050 led flex strips for non rgb for this year, would the lynx 16 ch dc controller need additional items to go RGB for next year?

I would go Ethernet Dongle.

Go DMX this year, and for next year, if your going smart strip and not just RGB, reflash it to pixelnet and go SSH with SSC's

I probably wont do any smart strings this year. Mainly need to build a bunch of stuff already, going with RGB and Led string. Plan on getting a SSH and some SSC's on the next group buy though, mostly to have something to tinker with and go live with in 2013.
