automotive turn signal relays.
or program a pic... it's easy, if you use Graphical Cow Basic (wont be run by dmx, but hey, it's on a bike, doesnt need to be.)

how "wild" do people decorate their bikes? i think i gotta see this...
Do a google photo search for "burningman bike" and you won't have to re-invent the wheel.
