Is anyone willing to part with a transmitter (pre-built) with an RDS option? Thought i'd try my luck here before hitting the google search button for ebay options. Drop me a PM if you have one. Looking in the $100(ish) range for a transmitter incl shipping.

Cheers!

Have you considered going to You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login .  It's a USB transmitter/RDS that I have heard good things about, and it's $100.00.

Haven't....but looking at the website, it is my price range. I'll contact them to see if they will ship one up here to great white north (sadly, yes it's still freaking white!).

I was looking at this one from them: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

What extra does rds give aside from transmitting song name, station name and time?

That's it for RDS...as for the other transmitter - it's all enclosed. not sure that makes up for the added $$$, but it is a bit of a justification
