The Windows version of xLights 2011 is now available for download on SourceForge:

Features:

• Pixelnet support
• E1.31 support
• Animation playback (sequences with no audio file)
• RGB tester - in addition to the original tester
• Revamped user interface for entering network setup
• Weekly scheduler with multiple shows per day
• Reduced reliance on scripts
• Support for all 16 networks in LOR sequences

I will work on getting the Mac OS/X version out in the next week. As with earlier versions, xLights will run fine on Linux, but you will have to compile it yourself. Enjoy!

Matt, what would the Network Configuration screen look like if I had: (I'll be using LOR S2)

A Lynx Dongle on COM5, using a full 512 channels (and what is the normal baud for the Lynx dongle)

and

an E1.31, universes 101, 102, 103 and 104 using IP address of 192.168.0.12 ??

Baud rate is grayed out for DMX because it is set automatically for you. Here's what the screen would look like:

I am having a problem with the scheduler... when the show starts I this error message:


xScheduler.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I can play each item individually with no problems

Any ideas?

I figured it out.... operator problems...    It is working fine now.  It helps to save the schedule... duh

I am working on it. However, my only Mac is an iBook G3 with 384MB RAM and a very small hard drive. So Mac development is slow. It does run OS/X 10.4 though. Also, the wxWidgets library, which xLights uses, has a few UI problems on the Mac (e.g. fonts and widgets don't always get sized the same as they do on Windows and Linux). Just takes time to work through all of that.
