Does Anyone do New Year's Countdowns?

I've only got 5 mini-trees this year, so I have to count down in binary.

My wife said now all of the neighbors will know there is a nerd in the house.

My thought, is thought that they will need to know binary to know that.

Last year I did a count down. I had a com error from Vixen scheduler that messed up my timing 

I didn't bother to try this year.

We did a countdown in lights for the 3rd straight year. Had a countdown from the demented elf and then sequences Lew Rawls Auld Lang and this year I finally did Pink Floyd's TIME. I had said id like to do that one for a couple years and finally did it. This year it was more then just my wife and I and It was very cool to have others out for our countdown in lights and they did get to see 2 new songs and we rean the show until 1 am.

Raised just short of $12,000 so far. I planned to run thru next weekend but if the weather is nice here in central Pa. this week ill start tearing down Tuesday and running a partial show and maybe get to the $12,000 mark.

I did a 10 seconds count down and then 1 minute of random on all channels.

The thought had crossed my mind.I was planing a 30 mega pole with star I could change that to a ball new years eve and lower the  C9 strobe ball with servo motor contol.
