What happened to a topic that was posted earler 'Demo of my SmartString Grouping project for my 2012 show'.

The videos were interesting about a new setup program for the SSCs. The demo showed that a program could be developed that would group pixels together without having to do it from within a sequencer like Light Show Pro. It is a feature that I know several people have wanted and discussed before.

RJ took it down very quickly for some reason.

I thought we could discuss just about anything is this area of the board.

The ssc does not support pixel grouping.
To change that would require new ssc firmware.

Well if it does require a change in the firmware then at least it proves that such enhancements could be done.

As posted before the later firmware not yet ready for release has such features.
