I'm going to start my first sequencing project the hard way...by learning how to use HLS & animate my singing xmas tree. Ideally I'd like to start with a song that is between 1-2 minutes in length at the most. I've seen a few of the songs at holidaycoro, but their trees are all quartets. I really want to just find a few songs with one singer. Does anyone have some good suggestions for me? I like Sarah Silvermans song You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login but I'm not really sure my wife will appreciate me making this part of the show...even if I saved the song for the last song of the night after the little kids are tucked in their beds!! So, does anyone have a list of songs that might work good with my single singing tree?

Well I do have the dog house already and the SSRs enroute from the latest coop so we should be good to go....all that is missing is the snow, but I'm sure come December mother nature will help with that.

I always liked this one ... but not for the kiddies:

"Weird Al" Yankovic - The Night Santa Went Crazy (Extra Gory Version) You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

This one is safer:

Stompin' Tom Connors - Merry Christmas Everybody You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

This one may be easier:

Dean Martin - Let it Snow!  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

Working at one of the radio stations that flips to all Christmas (we wait till after Thanksgiving and we play all the "good" stuff), we always get requests for Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer.  I know it's by Elmo and Patsy, but the majority of the song is one voice.  All I Want for Christmas is my 2 Front Teeth...  Santa Looked A Lot Like Daddy...

UGH, I can't believe we're talking Christmas songs already!  LOL.  I know we have to start sequencing.  Time flies!

This year, I'm adding Weird Al's Christmas At Ground Zero. Have enjoyed that one along with other Bob Rivers Twisted Christmas
I have O Christmas Tree now.. Figure if I add one or two a year from that, and all the Christmas music I have from the Radio Station, can add quite a bit each year and always have something different.

+1 on Bob Rivers.

I've got "The 12 Pains of Chistmas" that I'm considering sequencing.
