Title: SSR issues?
Post by: IndianaChristmas on November 28, 2011,
When my show is powered down for the night, I notice that some of the lights that are attached to several different SSRs (attached to Freestyle) will remain on at a very low intensity (hardly noticible).  Some of the same controllers appear to randomly flicker lights during a show.  This does not seem to happen with lights attached to my expresses.
My question is what would cause the these issues to occur? (A short, bad CAT 5 Cable, bad Freestyle?).  It is hard for me to test equipment now as it is in the yard!  I did test it all before it went out to check if channels lit at each connector in the freestyle and each channel of the SSR before I placed the hardware.

Thanks,
Eric

The ssr 4's do not have snubbers; where as, the freestyles do. The snubber helps leds dim. this issue was covered here http://diylightanimation.com/index.php?topic=5948.0  And i attached a file on how to make a snubber.
