60-70 mile an hour wind gusts here in northern Kentucky tonight and the new tree survived! after my tree falling last year, I was a little nervous I have to admit. extra weight with the pvc pipe so I used 3/8 rope for guywires this year. I honestly didn't think it would go any where but I was nervous. I hope every one in the Midwest and south has the same fate as I this evening.

You built that thing well, glad it held up. Just finished repairing an arch. Northern Ohio had 48 hours of rain and then finally high winds. Hopefully that is over. Desperately trying to go live tonight.
