Title: 27 Channel from Ray

So I have seen the 27 channel controller from Ray but I'm a little confused (which is not hard to do for me and RGB stuff). If you use the controller from Ray do you still need the SSC's for each string of nodes? I assume the controller from Ray replaces the 16 port active hub. I'm trying to do a 1/2 mega tree with 16 strands of 75 nodes for the cheapest way possible.

Ray 27 channel controller controls DC powered dumb elements...

like the mr16, but with 27 channels and uses DMX (like the MR16)
