3pin connectors for smart strings

i know you don't worry about the wiring on the nodes, but look at the labeling that printed on the node....

but do you guys have a system for color coding the connectors?

for example, coming off the ssc, i always use red for +, green for -, and blue for data, then that lines up with some items, and then i just wire that to what ever is the correct wire for the labeling on the nodes
in my case, the smart strings nodes use the same wiring, so i'm good, but my plastic rectangles, i line up my red to red, my blue goes to green (green is the data on my rectangles, and green to blue (blue is my - on the rectangles)

if you use the connectors, are you wiring them differently?

I wired my connectors all the same going to the SSC.  Then wire accordingly to the other end of the pair.  This way I can use any SSC and don't have to worry about color order etc.

i did the color the same as in the assembly manual for the ssc - then adjust other other end if need be for the different wire colors etc.
