Title: WTB FM transmitter
Post by: RDwizard on October 11, 2011,
I am looking to upgrade and buy a new FM transmitter for my show. Does anyone have one they are no longer going to use or changed their minds on having a show altogether?

Thanks
Ray

I've got an FM01 I'm no longer using (works good but swapped to a FM02 so I can mount it differently.

Chris Foley is selling FM02 transmitters on his site at

http://wlcventures.com/zencart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4&products_id=19

You do have to create a user to find out the price, but when you do, you'll find it is entirely reasonable.

I seem to remember he doesn't have any in stock right now, but is expecting a shipment from Vast momentarily.

I have no economic interest in his site; just a satisfied customer.

How have these worked for you guys? What kind of input to they handle? What kind of antinna do I need and and what kind of distance should I expect?

The WiKi has been updated and now includes the instructions on building your own 1/4 Ground Plan antenna for your FM transmitter.

Next one will be how to modify a Rubber Ducky Antenna, and then the Dipole Antenna.  I hope to get them done by the end of October or early November.
