Hi all,
With 10 Express controllers to build I needed an easy way to work on them. I made this simple stand to hold the boards for assembly testing and programming. Nothing fancy by any means but surprisingly functional. I used a piece of oak and four 3/8" by 3 1/2" nylon bolts some washers and nylon nuts. I ground the tops of the bolts down on my grinder.

Nice work there. I wish I had something like that 15 Expresses ago.

This is one of those "Why didn't I think of that" moments.
Such a simple idea. Great job.
Your bench is way to clean. We want to see some scorch marks and pieces of wire insulation.

Great idea!
Did you shine up the bench just to take a picture? That is a very clean work area <wd..

That is fantastic!
My bench was that clean the day I built it. Now it looks like a mechanics coveralls.

Thanks for all the great compliments.
"When is the coop?" I haven't been a member long enough. LOL
"Your work space is so clean." I share a hobby room/office with my wife. I try to keep the place cleaned up. The garage which is strictly "man-space" a whole different story. I can see part of my battle stained work bench. LOL
"Did you shine up the bench for the picture?" Nope
Thanks again,
Brian
