Or rather, how do you support your habit of DLA? (What is/was your job?)

I went to college for Theater/Lighting Design, and in 2006 I went on the road with a touring show as an Electrician/ lighting tech.  I traveled all around the world setting up, running, and fixing the show’s lighting/electrical systems.  I also got my Pyrotechnic incense.  I can tear apart a moving light and fix just about anything wrong with it. I learned a LOT about DMX, Artnet, and how a major show uses this to run the lighting rig.  It was an awesome experience, but in August of 2011 I left for another opportunity.  I now work at an entertainment lighting company based in Solon (Cleveland) Ohio.

My background in electronics, theater, entertainment lighting, and interest in anything that plugs in makes DLA a really fun place!

Right now - Employed @ American Airlines as a Crew Chief of Facilities Maintenance (I no longer have to get too dirty >:D, but I still do a bit) 26 years.  i hope I'll still have a job after this mess is over with in Bankruptcy Court!!!  Backround includes working for ShowCo sound/light engineer doing major concert venues (Texas Jam and such..) to drag racing - Just an all-round jack-of-all-trades to put it simply.  Enough knowledge to get myself into trouble.... ;)

The better half is still waiting for me to grow up!

In the mean time

35 years in electrical construction and maintenance, the second job as an instructor teaching apprentices the electrical trade.
