Power Supply Feedback
« on: November 09, 2013, »
Without looking at the price, I may be able to pick one up cheap. I would like some feedback on this power supply

I'm planning with growth in mind, completely DC, well maybe a few AC items. I plan on using all Smart and Dumb String nodes, adding more and more each year and want to make sure I have a solid core setup from the get go. I will be feeding this monster it's own 220v circuit as well.

Any thoughts, suggestions, warnings and constructive criticism would be great.

Thanks,
John

I got all my 500w +/- power supplies for around $30.  So 3 of these is your 1,500 watts.  So if you are getting under $100 you are doing well.  I prefer to have multiple hubs and power throughout the yard instead of one source.  Sure beats having to buy wire and run it all over the place.  I also think multiple power sources has some redundancy, if one fails the others remain on.
Sam, who is happy he flashed his etherdongle with newest firmware!
