Mobile light show

Moving light show.

Looking for a ways to control my moving light show instead of a computer.

My moving light show doesn't have a lot of space and is moving.

Thanks

Curious where you take a mobile show and why it is needed?

Next year (maybe) the Lynx Conductor should be out and that eliminates the needed for a computer.

How about a cheap netbook to run the show?

Cheers

That would be one way to go.

This will be on a horse. So using a computer wouldn't be my frst choice.

Just looking for other options.

I hesitate to mention a commercial product, because I currently have zero experience with it, but what about the LOR iDMX1000?

From their web site at

In addition, the iDMX1000 can act as a standalone director and it can be used to simultaneously control a LOR Network and/or a DMX Universe.

Do NOT buy this on me saying this; as I said, I have zero experience with the device right now.  What the above says and how I"m interpreting it may be two different things.  But I'm interpreting the "standalone director" as capable of storing your sequences for playback without a computer.
