I learned that quite to well. I lost everything 2 years ago and had to start all over so back up early and often.

I've been working on the same song for so long that I decided to try a different song last night and the problem was almost not even there. I didn't use any macros or transitions.

If the problem was no longer there on a new song, you might want to try running the mp3 through audacity if you haven't done that already. 44100 mhz and 128kbps seems to work best.
