Title: I bought these to experiment with. Will they work?
Post by: sittinguphigh on October 18, 2013,
I bought these to see if they will work?
I hope they will. Just how many can I put on a string with the SSC?

They should work with SSC V4 or Zeus.

Without any specs, there is no way to know.  What chip is it using and what is the current draw per node?  If you have a link to the site where they are located that may help.  But remember, if you use unapproved nodes like these you are kinda on your own if things go wrong or don't work.

I don't know what MP3 you are talking about but if you are referring to the Conductor output then yes, it is Stereo.  As for these nodes, the current and voltage is within spec for a 20 piece string for the SSC but you may have an issue with the WS8211 chip.  If you are using the V4 SSC and these chips are clocked correctly, then they may ork just fine.  I would order a test string to see before ordering a large number of them.

Thanks. Sorry not the right topic here. Just kind of slipped out. <fp.

Yes I bought a string. What test do I have to do?
