It only took me that long because I didn't visit the board on Friday or yesterday.

FWIW, stood in line outside the old Coronet Theatre in San Francisco's Richmond District for three hours on May 26, 1977 (day after release; day after rave review in the newspaper). I know it was the Thursday night, because my first day on my new job was Friday, May 27, at 4 p.m.
