Hi Rj,

nice video

I had to watch it twice since the first time I wasn't paying attention to the way the cases were facing the TX  ;D

Cheers

P.S. a bit windy there but at least you can see your grass

Thanks for sharing RJ!

Just to clarify your Wireless placement, the receiver antenna planes are all parallel to the plane of the TX antenna? or are some perpendicular?

With that huge yard I can see why going Wireless makes a big difference.

You can only get the plane of the receivers pointed at the Transmitter antenna if you have a large area to cover so some will not be in the plane of the Transmitters antenna but just having the units all face the transmitter makes a difference. Between getting a good signal and the newer firmware it works very well.

You are correct John the yard is large enough that it takes a lot of cat5 to wire it and alot of time to set them up trouble shoot them and replace any ends then take them up and mark and store them.

The wireless is mainly a ease of setup and tear down item for us. It is nice to take the unit out of storage and stick it in the ground with only power to feed it.

Plus if you decide to move something you just move it you do not need to make up a new cat5 cable for it and come up with a routing to get it there.

Looks great!
Thanks for the sharing tips and walkthrough.
And yes the wind and rain was miserable in central FL the past couple of days. Still waiting for it to die down so I can go out and tidy things up again.
