Pig Tail Wiring Has Changed
« on: November 21, 2012, »
I just received an order from Ray and the wiring color has changed on the pig tail connectors that he sent me. On mine Blue= what was Green, Yellow= what was Red, Brown = What was Blue.

Just an FYI and if there is already a post about this I will delete.

There are other posts on this, but it is better to have too many than too few.  It seems like the wire colors change with every version of the lights, so always best to check it.

Well being color blind it just caught me off guard. I honestly did not take the time to search for other posts. I will delete if others think this is redundent!

double check the wires...

old green should now be blue
old red should now be yellow
old blue should now be brown

I've been soldering 80 pairs for my arches lately   <fp.

I asked my wife for some color help and I stand corrected again.

Correct me again if I am wrong, but that chart is wrong. Flex strip should be the same as Smart Strings. IE Red +, Green -common (ground), Blue Data.

rdebolt is correct.  The info on that page is wrong for the flex strips.  This page has the correct info I believe:
