Those don't appear to be the standard compatible Flex Strips that are referenced in the Wiki (although they do have the correct voltage and chip model).  If you got them from Ray Wu, could you provide a link to these strips in his online store.  Thanks.

I did get them from Ray Wu, about a year ago. I wen to Aliexpress to get the link, but it was deleted (Product Details are only cached for 150 days, according to aliexpress). I ordered based off what was on this site, and that's what I got. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions.

Thanks,

Erik

The reason Mike stated they were not standard is because they are 5M strips. The wiki has only linked to the 4M strips never 5M strips. 120 nodes are the maximum amount of nodes supported by SSC firmware.

Ahh, that makes sense. Must have shopped around too much on Ray's site. They can be cut after the 4m, and the extras spliced together if wanted.

Thanks,

Erik

I was more concerned about the IP65 rating instead of IP68. They'd need to go in a tube if exposed to the weather. Perhaps good inside an PEX tube?

They don't appear to be in the silicone tubing that is standard with the model in the Wiki.  Looks like they have sticky tape backing.  Not sure what Ray would charge for shipping but these are $60 more than Ray's price for 5 "standard" flex strips (probably due to the extra meter).  I'm not trying to be a pain. Just want people to know what they are getting.

The pex tube, unless properly sealed, would hod miosture against the striip and may actually make it worse.

$50 sounds about right for shipping from Ray for this, especially if you don't contact him first.
