Any word on how the testing is going?
i would like to place a mouser order for my express stuff in the next few days (hopefully once the stock comes in) and i would like to order at least the major bits for the wireless. i dont mind missing a few minor parts as they can be picked up local.
is there any chance of a BOM (partial?) being available say by the end of the week. i would really like to avoid the extra $45ish in shipping if i can.
i guess im mainly trying to get a timeframe to see if its worth holding off on my express stuff .

Does not posting the BOM for the wireless violate rules of the coop???
Some of us would take the chance that the parts would not change.
I might get some heat but rules are rules.

A bill of materials (BOM) will be posted when the coop is started and will include projected totals for price break-points (10, 25, 50, etc.), as well as the date and time when the coop's sign-up ends

I do believe that the COOP should remain alive.
However, because of the nature of risk involved, I also believe that should there be a significant increase in the per kit price because of BOM changes (i.e. 25% increase), that the individuals that have opted into the COOP should have one last opportunity to either change the qty of boards or even to opt out. I realize that this puts one extra wicket in the process, but it would only be exercised if the price changed signficantly because of the testing. This could also apply if the supplier dramatically changed their price structure between time of estimate and final quote. (example... the RF chip/antenna jumped from 9.95 to 19.95), so that the kit price jumped significantly) .

(p.s. the 25% is just a number for consideration )
But an important point to remember is while you might agree that it is OK to go ahead I did break a rule. The OP is correct in this. No matter how unintentional my actions were.

Cooler as in temp or as in neato factor?
