The upcoming release of LightShow Pro v1.7 is bringing with it the newest addition to the already comprehensive suite of tools, but this time it gets crazy cool!

litterally sequencing with video layers and transitions... here is a demonstration video to whet your appetite!

i have now watched that end to end and i'm just awed at the possibilities, now if you could wrap a matrix around a megatree i would be in heaven

Hi Phil,
that is the intention to allow a "Wrap-object" in the mapping options area of the transition configuration screen...

right now, the drawing tools are 2D, but you can bet this is being addressed...

after thinking about it, you could create a matrix on its own layer (number of strings by number of pixels tall) then you could map the video to the layer objects.
...on the preview it would look like a matrix...in the real-world it could be a mega-tree...

I'd like to watch that vid, but apparently the Thai government has decided that vimeo content is inappropriate for its citizens  :o  and has blocked the site.

[edit] sooooo.... if I remove the www. from the link, I can get there!  Strange...
