The first part of the show would be an awsome 4th of july display.... Nice

I have not had the guts to put my lights out in July because of the possibility of a major down pour coupled with 70 mile an hour winds. The first song was my wife's requirement when she approved this year's budget.  :)  We also have many military folks in Colorado Springs.

That was great. Do you have spotlights on the house or was that just the smart strings lighting it up?

I have eight Rainbow floods that are powered by a single 27 channel Ray Wu DMX DC controller. I may be adding many more 10 watt floods from Ray.

Came out to see your show last night (stayed for two run-thrus)... GREAT JOB !!!

The colors look spectacular in person !!

I assume the house across the street was part of the show? (At least the snowflakes and deer?)

Thanks Dan. I wish I could capture the colors better with the video.

One pointer I have is make sure you specify to Ray your desired node spacing. I did not and I received 1600 nodes that could only be spaced 2.5 inches apart without stressing the wire.

Also I am sold on the nylon strap method of hanging nodes. I burned holes in strap with 3/8 metal pin that was heated with plumping torch. Then used hot glue to help keep them in the hole. Most were real tight in hole so glue was just insurance. Only a handfull needed to be fixed throughout the run of the show.

I burned all 1600 holes in 1 day. Alot easier than zip ties to cord. Plus they stay aligned much better.

Very nice show.
I like all the lines and the framing of the house. Very clean and straight.
Would love to see a day time picture up close of the nylon webbing with the smart strings.

Thanks,

Craig

All vertical lines on house are tm1809 strips mounted to 1/2" PVC. I will see if I can get a pic of tree strands,
