Is the bill related to an address correction they had to do on an international package?  A visit to the local fed ex office might be enlightening, and wallet lightening.

No address correction, They even had a copy of my invoice in the letter. Wonder what will happen when the rest of my order gets shipped? Will I be billed again? Keeping my documents.
Have Fun!

I received a $1000 order from Ray 2 Weeks ago ;D, Today I received a bill from FedEx $25.00 +/- <fp..

Was wondering if anyone else has had this.

How/why would they bill you after they already delivered? I just got my order in Tuesday with 5 cables short of the 4 core and 4 extra of the 3 core? haven't tested any of the lights yet as i still need the active hub and some ssc.
Thanks
Ralph

All my stuff came DHL as well with no addons, but I suspect that the culprit may be the size of the order.  I have had multiple orders all under $500 each.  You might have saved enough on shipping one order vs multiple that with the $25 it was a wash, but hard to tell.  Customs charges are usually based on declared value and on the content type.

Order size drives this.

Update: I ordered on the first of April and I still don't have a shipment date. I emailed him and I am still waiting ... He told me a week ago it would ship Tuesday and I would receive a tracking # ... I just sent another email and I guess I will wait...

Sometimes it takes a little patience. If he has it on the shelf, it ships pretty quick. If not, he is at the mercy of his suppliers and it can take a while...

SOOOO  what did you get, lots of RGB stuff to play with?  Where is it going on the display?  How do you mount it all?  Curious newbies want to know to shorten our learning curves this season....

Oh do tell, don't think I will make the rgb smart string plunge this year, but am waiting on the coop for the V4 controllers.  Which nodes did you decide to buy for the tree?  Not quite understanding the differences in the nodes yet.  Seems they talk different protocols depending if they are ws2811 or ws2801 or whichever they happen to be.  I've started looking at the packaging at box stores to see if the led strips they sell are 4 conductor or not!

I ordered the 75 count smart strings which is listed in the wiki ... not sure I'm gonna use them all on the mega tree yet. I think I'm gonna make the tree in a single profile vs the complete circle.. still not sure yet.
