RRowan's 2009 Show
« on: November 29, 2009, »
Hi Guys,

Just a picture to start off.

I'll get some videos up sooner or later

I have been getting a lot of positive comments from my neighbors. Like, two young girls across the street along with their mom (well mom said she needs her sun glasses on :)) keep telling me they like the lights and look forward to each day to see the lights go on.  Couple of other neighbors have come out while I am working on getting things setup and been asking questions along with how much they like it.

Trying out two small arches this year most likely will have more next year :D
My micro trees I need to adjust slightly by putting a piece of spacer under them to raise them off the grass.

Cheers

Rick R.

P.S.

Many thanks to RJ and his Lynx boards

LOL

Yes my micro trees. Truth be told I should of left the "trunk" part of the tree a bit longer, now I need to add spacers.

Yeah my bending method was not approved/safe way so after talking to the guys I did post a "safer" way to bend the pvc.

I really like those mini trees.  Didn't mean anything by the super secret bend method, but it was something that I remembered.   ;D

I should of posted this earlier, Sorry

Many thanks guys for the nice comments.

Hopefully the rain goes away tomorrow so I can get some night pictures and video. Being a slacker, I still need to finish up my sequences. Currently running one sequence in a loop.

Cheers

You and me both.  I have a non musical sequence that just keeps changing colors and spinning the mega tree and people are still stopping out front to look at it.  I modify it every couple of days to try different speeds of color changes and now I going to add some  chases since I finally have the mini trees out.  However, rain today knocked out half of the minis tonight and resetting the GFI only helps for a few seconds.

Hi Folks,

Here is a test video. Why a test?  Well trying to figure out the software (Adobe Premier Pro CS4) along with just hand holding the video camera will use a tripod later. While looking at the video I need to fix a few things in the sequence and my editing of the audio seems to have the sound slight off from the video. Its much better in person.

I reduce the file down to 19mb so the quality is not the greatest either.

So enough excuses for now :D
