Any Interest in C9 retros?
« on: March 10, 2014, »
Ok this is not an official for sale yet because they are buried in the back of my shed and I cannot access quickly or easily, but I am trying to clean things up and clear the clutter. I do have 250-300 of each Red, green, blue and white C9 retro leds. The whites are cool white. These are almost all used for 2 seasons. They are also on sockets ready to plug in, but I would think that shipping with the wire might be cost prohibitive. I was thinking around $.50 each. Thoughts?

Roger

BTW this is NOT a bidding war I am just looking to see if anyone is interested in any!

While that price is probably less than what you paid for them, that is about the same price per smart string pixel.

Good point T. I did pay just under $2.00 each for them, but I also will probably never use them again. Thinking maybe just $50.00 per color. I just did not know if someone would want that quantity.

Well, I just bought like 24 or so LED bulbs to replace C7, and they were over $1.00 each on the pre-sales.  So $0.50 is reasonable.  I'm planning on using mine to dim, so here is hoping I did not waste $30 for mine!

You need to look at the description.  The better places will state whether they are dimable or not and if not, then just dim one or two and see what happens.  The non dimable ones will fail when dimmed.  It's better to lose one or two and sell the rest then to trash the entire string.

Yes they are dimmable. Purchased from Paul Sessel at Creative Displays Inc. Ran for 2 seasons. My show runs from 6-10 S-T and 6-11 F and S for the month of December.
