« on: February 20, 2012, »
I like to modify firmware on ssc
 What I want to do is to install or how I can modify  firmware on SSC something like test firmware so you don't need computer to play light
Did I need workshop .HEX software to modify or what software do you use ??
WHY ??? What I need is  for my new project   I just need REd and bleu light go on and off (Same  police light Car  ) so I just need to install 12+ power and give me that red and bleu flashing light with no computer just  plug on  my SSC controle   Can we do something like that ??????
Thank Daniel ::) ::) ::)

you might be better off with making a project that animates the flashing lights for you. (like one of the projects in a Parallax stamp module book) then just use red and blue leds.
To rule the entire tri-state area!  What's that? Perry the Platypus!!!

Sorry RJ's firmware is NOT open source

You would have to complete write your own firmware to use SS controllers.

Like Chris said you would be better off going with other options. Even a simple 555 timer circuit with Red & Blue leds might serve your needs.
